The Idea

Mica (A mineral found in glittery makeups) is illegally mined by child laborers in India. Five to ten children die every month due to the lack of protection and mine collapses. Lush is a handmade cosmetic brand that is mica free and produces its own lab-made synthetic mica. This is less harmful to the people and the environment.


This campaign intends to promote synthetic mica as well as spreads awareness about child labor.    


The 'Black Rebellion' is a makeup statement that includes all products black and shiny.

People tend to reciprocate people they follow or look upto. Celebrities, models and even influencers have the ability to make change. By making a statement look in terms of the makeup products they use and promote, the idea is to get them to be a part of the #blackrebellion campaign.
